For all you dog lovers out there...I just have to cast my vote for dogs. They rule!! We love our black lab Toby and our golden retriever MeiMei. They add so much to our family life and bring us such happiness. They are best friends with each other. One of the funnest things is to watch them play with each other. They have a game of tag that they play around our house, hiding out around corners and then charging each other. They usually spend all their time in the same room. They love Malory and Katy the most, but Jake is winning over MeiMei's heart. She snuggles up to him the minute he walks in. But Carlyle is the Alpha Kahuna at our house. He has enjoyed learning things from the television program of Cesar Millan the Dog whisperer. http://www.cesarmillaninc.com Carlyle has actually trained our dogs to go on walks with him without leashes needed. They stay right by his side! It really is fun to own dogs when they are that well behaved. They sleep right by my bed and bark at any unusual sounds. There is great security in that! Toby loves birds and sitting on anyone's lap. MeiMei loves to play with toys and chase Toby around. She is so graceful when you get her running fast, she looks like a deer prancing. I'd say they spend 75% of their lives sleeping. Dogs are the best!
